A non-aqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent containing an organic halide, and a portion of the positive electrode current collector and a portion electrically connected to the current collector that comes into contact with the non-aqueous electrolyte Is composed of a valve metal or an alloy thereof.
