abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a tooth portion of a toothed belt, enhance the durability of the toothed belt, and extend its running life. SOLUTION: A tooth portion 14 and a tooth bottom portion are alternately formed on one surface of a tooth rubber layer 12 of a toothed belt 10. Tooth 1 4 and a canvas 20 is provided on the outer surface of the tooth bottom. Tooth rubber layer 1 The back rubber layer 16 is integrally provided on the other surface of the second member 2. A plurality of cords 18 are interposed at the boundary surface between the tooth rubber layer 12 and the back rubber layer 16. A large number of modified microfibers 22 are mixed into the tooth rubber layer 12 throughout. The modified microfiber 22 is a copolymer of polyolefin and nylon fiber. The entire denatured microfiber 22 is oriented in the length direction of the toothed belt 10. |
