titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for regenerating adsorbent for removing harmful substances in exhaust gas
abstract (57) [Summary] A used adsorbent is subjected to heat treatment in an inert gas atmosphere in two stages, upstream and downstream, or in a former stage and a latter stage. As the adsorbent, activated carbon, zeolite, activated clay, or the like is used, and as the inert gas atmosphere, nitrogen, steam, or a mixed fluid of both is used. [Effect] An adsorbent for removing harmful substances such as dioxins contained in waste flue gas can be efficiently regenerated. Also, i) dust removal step, ii) By the regeneration operation consisting of the heating steps I and iii) the heating steps II and iv) the cooling step, the adsorbed harmful substances can be desorbed stepwise, and the detoxification treatment suitable for each can be performed.
