abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a lubricating oil composition for diesel engines capable of effectively removing combustion residues such as soot mixed into lubricating oil and maintaining lubricating performance and cleanliness for a long period of time. SOLUTION: (1) Polyalkenyl succinate is added to a base oil composed of a mineral oil, a synthetic oil, or a mixed oil thereof in an amount of 0.5%. 5.0 to 5.0% by weight, (2) 0.5 to 5.0% by weight of zinc dithiophosphate, and (3) one or more detergents selected from the group consisting of Ca sulfonate, Ca phenate and Ca salicylate. A lubricating oil composition for a diesel engine, wherein the lubricating oil composition is added by 10 to 10% by weight.
