abstract | (57) Abstract: Provided is a method for producing an α-olefin random copolymer with high productivity by using a catalyst containing a transition metal imine compound having excellent polymerization activity. (A) a specific transition metal imine compound, (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of (B-1) an organometallic compound, (B-2) an organoaluminum oxy compound, and (B-3) a compound which reacts with the transition metal imine compound (A) to form an ion pair. In the presence of a catalyst consisting of A method for producing an α-olefin random copolymer, comprising copolymerizing at least two or more α-olefins selected from α-olefins having 3 or more carbon atoms. |
