titleOfInvention | N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfate specific β1,4-galactosyltransferase |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel β1,4-galactosyltransferase capable of selectively binding galactose to N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfate by β1,4-linkage and a method for producing the same. To do. SOLUTION: A suspension of a large intestinal mucosa of a pig, a human, or the like is prepared by using U A β1,4-galactosyltransferase specifically acting on N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfate is obtained by affinity chromatography using a DP-hexanolamine sepharose column and an asialo-agalacto-ovomucin sepharose column. . Using this enzyme, galactose is bound to a sugar chain having an N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfate residue at the non-reducing end by β1,4 linkage. |
