titleOfInvention Image sensor unit and image scanner having the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To reduce the thickness of an image scanner by preventing the image sensor unit from having a large thickness over its entire length. A case (1) has a light source (2) for irradiating light to a document (D) disposed opposite to one side surface portion (10a) of the case (1), and a plurality of reflection mirrors (3a) to (3) through which reflected light from the document (D) travels along a fixed path. 3e, a line sensor 5, and an imaging lens 4a for forming a reduced image of the original D on the line sensor 5. 4b and a plurality of reflection mirrors 3 As a to 3e, there are a plurality of light reciprocating reflection mirrors 3b and 3c opposed to each other at intervals so as to reciprocate the reflected light from the document D a plurality of times between the plurality of reflection mirrors 3a to 3e. Image sensor unit, wherein a plurality of light reciprocating reflection mirrors 3b and 3c are provided. Are provided so as to face each other at an interval in the horizontal direction in a state where the case 1 is in a horizontal posture with one side surface portion 10a facing upward.
