abstract (57) Abstract: A cassette-type radiation image reading apparatus capable of efficiently obtaining a desired radiation image is provided. Image data generated according to the intensity of irradiated radiation is supplied from an imaging panel to a control circuit and written into a memory. The display unit 32 generates an image display signal DS based on image data from the imaging panel 21 or image data read from the memory 29. To supply. Data indicating identification information, photographing conditions, and the like are stored in the memory 29 in advance, the data is read out, an information display signal DJ is generated, and supplied to the display unit 32. Since the radiation image, the identification information, the imaging conditions, and the like are displayed on the display unit 32, it is possible to perform imaging properly using this display and easily confirm whether a desired radiation image has been obtained.
