abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable residual chlorine meter which has a simple structure, is portable, can be easily operated, can be handled without skill, and can automatically and accurately measure residual chlorine. The task is to provide An instrument main body having a signal processing and control circuit section, a power supply circuit section, and a display section, and a detecting section connected to the instrument main body via a connection cable are provided. The detection unit 2 includes a sample collection cup 6 and an electrode support cap 7 that is detachably fitted to the sample collection cup 6. The electrode support cap 7 is a comparative electrode that is immersed in a sample solution in the sample collection cup 6. 8 and a detection electrode 9. The comparative electrode 8 is obtained by dropping a metal wire having a metal coating only on a portion that comes into contact with the electrolytic solution in an electrode tube filled with the electrolytic solution. |
