Image recording method using intermediate transfer medium for thermal transfer |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To significantly improve the image fixing property on the final image carrier, to expand the selection latitude of the final image carrier, and to increase the image thickness of the transferred material and the whiteout of the image. Provided is an image recording method using an intermediate transfer medium capable of obtaining a transferred product having excellent reproducibility. In a thermal transfer recording method for thermally transferring an image formed on a thermal transfer intermediate transfer medium (4) to a final image carrier (14), a material of a thermal roll (11) has a Vickers hardness of 10 to 100 degrees and a thickness of 1 to 100 degrees. Using a transfer device of 10 mm, the surface roughness (Rz) of the image receiving surface is 1 to 30 μm. An image recording method using an intermediate transfer medium for thermal transfer, wherein a transfer image is formed by making the intermediate transfer medium 4 and the final image carrier 14 facing each other to form a transfer image. |
