abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To improve the tight adhesion of an inorganic oxide to a deposited film, An object of the present invention is to provide a barrier film excellent in gas barrier properties against oxygen gas and water vapor and the like, and further excellent in transparency, heat resistance, flexibility, laminate strength and the like, and a laminated material using the same. SOLUTION: On one surface of a base film, a vapor-deposited inorganic oxide thin film is provided by a chemical vapor deposition method. And a plasma-treated surface with a gas composed of one or more of oxygen, nitrogen, argon, or helium is provided on the surface of the vapor-deposited thin film of the inorganic oxide. Further, the present invention relates to a barrier film provided with a coating film made of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer as a main component of a vehicle, and a laminated material using the same.
