PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance and highly durable S-shaped electrophotographic photosensitive member, a method of manufacturing the same at low cost, and an electrophotographic apparatus provided with the electrophotographic photosensitive member. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a charge transporting block copolymer or a graft copolymer comprising a charge transporting active block and a charge transporting inactive block, the charge transporting inactive block has a homopolymer. A structure that is soluble in a solvent having a solubility parameter value of 22 (MPa) 1/2 or more is contained in a range of 5 to 70% by weight as a repeating unit. Examples of the solvent having a solubility parameter value of 22 (MPa) 1/2 or more include methanol and N, N-dimethylformamide, and the repeating unit preferably has an acidic group. |
