abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel graft copolymer capable of imparting excellent water-drop sliding property, water repellency, and antifouling property when formed into a coating film, and a paint containing the same. SOLUTION: The graft copolymer comprises (A) 2 to 70% by weight of an organic solvent-soluble fluororesin having a radically polymerizable unsaturated bond portion through a urethane bond, (B) one-terminal radically polymerizable polysiloxane 4 to 40% by weight, and (C) under the radical polymerization reaction conditions, an organic solvent-soluble fluororesin (A) having a radically polymerizable unsaturated bond portion via the urethane bond, and a polymerization reaction by a double bond. Non-reactive radical polymerizable monomer 15 to 94% by weight is copolymerized. The paint contains the above graft copolymer.
