abstract |
The present invention relates to non-nucleotides that synthetically combine with specific nucleotide monomer units of a nucleotide reagent to form a well-defined polymer having a backbone containing nucleotide and non-nucleotide monomer units. The present invention provides a non-nucleotide reagent having a monomer unit. The present invention relates to non-nucleotide reagents that can conveniently link a single or multiple moieties, such as labels or intercalators, to nucleotide probes at any particular selected location. |
