titleOfInvention Method for producing thermoplastic resin foam
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin foam having excellent dimensional stability and mechanical strength and high productivity. SOLUTION: A foaming resin composition comprising a liquid crystal resin, a thermoplastic resin having a melting temperature lower than the transition point of the liquid crystal resin, and a foaming agent is kneaded at a temperature equal to or higher than the transition temperature of the liquid crystal resin, and then cooled in a cooling mold. It is characterized in that it is shaped while foaming is performed, and the foam is continuously extruded.
