titleOfInvention Water treatment equipment
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To purify wastewater containing a hardly decomposable substance such as an organic halogen-based pesticide or an organic solvent by treating it easily and in a short time under mild conditions. A processing tank, which is a cylindrical container, is mounted on a rotating support shaft of a driving device, and is installed so as to rotate at a speed of about 1 to 5 rotations per minute around a central axis. The inside thereof contains a myriad of photocatalysts 3 in which a spherical glass carrier is coated with titanium dioxide composed of anatase type crystal as a main component, and the photocatalysts 3 are further irradiated with light. A rod-shaped ultraviolet lamp 4 is disposed. Further, an inlet pipe 11 for the water to be treated is provided on one side of the treatment tank 1 and a discharge pipe 12 is provided on the other side. The water to be treated is introduced into and discharged from the treatment tank 1 so as to have a predetermined flow rate. It is set as follows.
