titleOfInvention Electrophotographic toner and image forming method using the same
abstract (57) [Problem] To reduce unevenness due to the size of toner particles consumed in the development and transfer processes, to minimize the change in toner characteristics due to the formation of a large number of images, and to prevent generation of background fog. Provided are an electrophotographic toner that can provide stable image quality and is suitable for a toner recycling mechanism, and an image forming method using the same. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic toner having a colorant dispersed in at least a binder, the electric resistance of the colorant is lower than the electric resistance of the toner, and the colorant is contained in the total toner by weight. The ratio Wt, the weight-based content Wf of the colorant in particles having a particle size of 5.0 μm or less in the toner, the specific gravity ρt of the toner, and the specific gravity ρp of the colorant satisfy Expression 1.
