titleOfInvention | Engine fuel injection timing control device and vehicle |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To make the actual fuel injection timing coincide with the target injection timing. SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle 5 is a throttle type, and its nozzle area (cross-sectional area of a clearance portion which becomes the narrowest). Has a lift amount dependence of the needle 60 as shown by a characteristic curve B in the right graph. Needle lift amount is (a) initial lift area, (b) throttle area, (C) The manner in which the fuel injection timing shifts depends on which of the lift regions is taken. The timer device of the distribution type fuel injection pump is controlled in consideration of the needle lift amount dependence characteristic of the injection hole area in advance. The correction amount of the fuel injection timing for that is obtained by referring to the map using the engine speed and the fuel injection amount as parameters. |
