abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a metal working oil which prevents the propagation of a wide range of bacteria for a long period of time, and to provide a method for preventing decay of the metal working oil by adding an antibacterial substance to the metal working oil. I do. The present inventors added various water-soluble antibacterial substances to a water-soluble metalworking oil and examined the antibacterial activity. As a result, the present inventors found that iodine acetates and aminoglycosides could be used as certain drugs. The present inventors have found that there is a remarkable preservative effect and an off-flavor prevention effect, and have completed the present invention.
