titleOfInvention Method for treating wastewater containing hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially and inexpensively decomposing hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid in wastewater containing hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid at low cost. SOLUTION: By flowing wastewater from the upper side and flowing out from the lower side into a reaction tower filled with a solid catalyst in which platinum is supported on activated carbon, it is possible to prevent the solid catalyst from flowing into the reaction tower. In addition, the catalyst is prevented from deteriorating due to collisions between the catalysts, so that the decomposition ability of the catalyst is maintained.
