titleOfInvention | Method for producing vinyl chloride polymer |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride polymer having a high bulk specific gravity, a sharp particle size distribution, a sharp pore size distribution in particles, and suitable for high-speed extrusion molding with high productivity, and Stable production. SOLUTION: A polymerization vessel having an internal volume of 100 m 3 or more provided with a stirrer, an outer jacket and a reflux condenser is used. Under polymerization conditions in which the amount of heat removed by the reflux condenser during polymerization is 30% or more of the total amount of heat removed and the polymerization time is within 6 hours, the vinyl chloride-based monomer is added in the presence of an oil-soluble polymerization initiator. In suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium, a predetermined dispersion stabilizer is used, a predetermined amount of acid or oxygen is present in the polymerization system, and the initial droplet diameter is controlled to 40 to 80 μm. |
