(57) [Object] To obtain a monoacylated phenylenediamine derivative with high selectivity from an unprotected phenylenediamine derivative. A benzoic acid derivative is converted to a benzoyl imidazole derivative and reacted with a phenylenediamine derivative. [Effect] A monoacylated phenylenediamine derivative which is a skeleton useful as a drug, an animal drug, a chemical, or an intermediate thereof can be obtained with a high selectivity. |
