titleOfInvention Method for producing intermediate transfer member having high smooth surface and intermediate transfer member obtained by the method
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for efficiently producing an intermediate transfer member having a high smooth surface which is used in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and in which occurrence of color shift is suppressed. SOLUTION: After a rough polishing treatment is performed on a substrate surface of an intermediate transfer member, a polishing treatment is performed using a film-like polishing member while applying a transverse vibration to the film-like polishing member to obtain a highly smooth surface having a maximum surface roughness of 5 μm or less. To produce an intermediate transfer member having the same.
