titleOfInvention Boiler feed water red water prevention method
abstract (57) [Problem] To prevent corrosion in a boiler water supply system and to prevent boiler water from becoming red water due to generation of red rust. SOLUTION: A reaction tank 5 is interposed in the middle of a boiler water supply system 6, a plurality of reactants 1 are filled in the reaction tank 5, and water is supplied through the reaction tank 5 to prevent red water from being supplied to the boiler. The reactant 1 is formed of a fired product composed of a core portion 2, a base layer portion 3 and a surface layer portion 4. The core portion 2 forms a granulated ceramic powder, and the base layer portion 3 absorbs water inherent to water. A mineral having a molecular vibration spectrum equal to the spectrum and having a stretching vibration or a bending vibration showing the molecular vibration spectrum is used as a main raw material, and the surface layer portion 4 is a vitrified surface of the base layer portion.
