abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a floor load support and a method of manufacturing the same which can simplify rust prevention treatment of a pipe body and improve productivity. SOLUTION: A fixed-length steel pipe material which has been subjected to a rust-prevention treatment is cut into a predetermined size to obtain a pipe body 11, and an upper joint 12 and an upper end 11a and a lower end 11b of the pipe body 11, respectively. The floor load support 1 is formed by forming a lower joint 13, joining a floor receiving member 20 to an upper joint 12, and joining a base plate 30 to a lower joint.
