abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet composition excellent in moldability (particularly melt flowability) and magnetic properties. A composition for a resin-bonded magnet comprising a magnetic powder having a surface coated with one or more metal phosphates and having an anisotropic magnetic field (HA) of 50 kOe or more, and a polyphenylene sulfide resin. For coating with a metal phosphate, the surface of the magnetic powder is preliminarily reacted with a single or mixed solution of phosphoric acid, zinc phosphate, manganese phosphate, iron phosphate or calcium phosphate. It is desirable that the polyphenylene sulfide resin has a terminal element in which the Na element is substituted with the H element and has a melt viscosity at 300 ° C. of less than 300 poise and 300 poise or more, or 200 poise or less. |
