(57) [Problem] To provide a floor mat that withstands the harshness of rotary cleaning and centrifugal drying on an industrial scale and that does not easily generate a visible amount of waving due to periodic cleaning. A floor mat (12) of the present invention comprises a nonwoven carpet pile substrate (16), a pile material (14) tufted by the nonwoven carpet pile substrate (16) and forming a pile surface on one surface of the substrate (16), and a carrier cloth (16). Equipped with a rubber vulcanized foamed rubber backing sheet 20 integrated with the other surface, The rubber backing sheet 20 contains a foaming agent to produce a foam rubber with a closed cell structure, and the floor mat 12 can be regularly used in a standard industrial washing machine without noticeable damage to the mat 12 or the washing machine. Non-woven carpet pile base material with flexibility suitable for being washed 16 has a heat shrinkage of about 2.0 to about 2.5%, and the rubber backing sheet 20 has a heat shrinkage of about 2.0 to about 2.5%. |
