titleOfInvention | Method for separating carboxylic acid isomer mixture |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method for separating a pyridine carboxylic acid isomer mixture or an aromatic carboxylic acid isomer mixture. SOLUTION: The following general formula (1): (Wherein X represents N or C—R 6 , one of R 1 to R 5 and R 6 is a carboxyl group, and the others are each independently a hydrogen, a halogen, a hydroxyl group, a nitro group, an amino group , Carbamoyl group, cyano group, formyl group, alkyl group, alkoxy group, alkylamino group, acetyl group, Acetoxy group, acetamino group, sulfamoyl group, sulfonyl group or phenyl group), and a known amount of a mixture of pyridinecarboxylic acid isomers or aromatic compounds having different meanings of X and R 1 to R 5 in this general formula. Carboxylic acid isomer mixture is converted to the corresponding alkali metal salt mixture, and the carboxylic acid which first reaches the neutralization end point when neutralized by an acid among the carboxylic acid salts constituting the carboxylic acid alkali metal salt mixture A method for separating a mixture of carboxylic acid isomers, which comprises adding an amount of acid necessary for neutralizing the salt, crystallizing this as a free carboxylic acid, separating out by precipitation, and repeating this operation as necessary. |
