Room temperature decomposition system for chlorine-based harmful chemicals such as PCB and trichlorethylene using far infrared rays, negative ions and metal ions. |
abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Problem] Pollution of groundwater and tap water sources by chlorine-based harmful chemicals poses a serious problem. It is considered impossible to decompose PCBs and the like at room temperature, and tens of thousands of tons have been retired throughout Japan, and there is even a concern that the corrosion of containers may contaminate groundwater. Corrosive oils such as trichlorethylene have already contaminated groundwater, and this purification requires a large amount of treatment costs. To solve this problem, a simple and low-cost system is provided for decomposing and rendering harmful chlorine-based chemical substances harmless. SOLUTION: An appropriate amount of a metal ion aqueous solution is added to polluted water containing a chlorinated harmful chemical substance, and air containing the action of far-infrared rays and negative ions is made into fine bubbles and backed up. Decomposes PCB and trichlorethylene at room temperature and renders them harmless. |
