SOLUTION: By cloning from a cDNA library derived from human monocytes, a gene gmp30 encoding a novel protein GMP30 having an inflammatory regulatory activity can be obtained. Since the protein has an inflammation regulating activity, it can be used for the development of anti-inflammatory agents and the like. |
