abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a novel plum dried plum that is effective in preventing and improving adult diseases such as arteriosclerosis, hypertension, cerebral apoplexy, and stiff shoulder, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of umeboshi, as a process of adding ginkgo leaves or a processed product thereof, for example, ginkgo leaves are soaked together with plums, so that the extract of ginkgo leaves penetrates into the plums. In this case, flavonoids such as rutin are contained in dried plum as a ginkgo leaf extract. This ginkgo biloba leaf extract has a blood vessel strengthening effect, and thus has a particularly effective medicinal effect for diseases of the vascular system.
