SOLUTION: The relationship between the OD according to the dye concentration of cyan ink or the thinning rate of cyan ink dots and the amount of dot deviation allowable in print quality is checked in advance, and the amount of deviation expected or actually occurring in the printing apparatus is determined. In order to determine the OD of the corresponding cyan ink, the dye concentration or the thinning rate of the cyan ink is set.
