(57) [Problem] To produce an N-alkoxysulfonyl-β-amino acid ester from N-chlorosulfonyl-β-lactam with good operability and high yield. A reaction is carried out by mixing a liquid in which N-chlorosulfonyl-β-lactam is dissolved or suspended in an organic solvent and a liquid in which metal alkoxide is dissolved or suspended in alcohol. |
