(57) Abstract: Provided is a lithium electrochemical cell that reduces and / or eliminates voltage delay in current pulse discharge. SOLUTION: The above problems are a) an anode made of an alkali metal, b) a solid cathode made of a conductive material, And c) an electrochemical cell comprising a non-aqueous electrolyte activating said anode and said cathode, wherein said non-aqueous electrolyte is selected from the group consisting of: i) esters, ethers and dialkyl carbonates and mixtures of said substances. Ii) a second solvent selected from the group consisting of cyclic carbonates, cyclic esters and cyclic amides and mixtures of the above substances, iii) nitrite additives, and iv) dissolved therein. The problem can be solved by an electrochemical cell comprising an alkali metal salt, wherein the alkali metal of the salt is the same as or similar to the alkali metal forming the anode. |
