titleOfInvention | Method for producing 3-cephem compound |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a cephem compound of the general formula (3) stably and in high yield without isolating an unstable compound generated by a conventional method. . SOLUTION: After reacting a β-lactam compound represented by the general formula (1) with a phosphorus halide compound in the presence of an organic base, an imino-β-lactam compound represented by the general formula (2) is obtained. Phenols are added to the same reaction system to carry out alcoholysis, and at the same time, deprotection of a carboxylic acid ester to obtain a 3-cephem compound represented by the general formula (3) or a salt thereof. A method for producing a cephem compound. Wherein R 1 is an arylmethyl group or the like, R 2 is a hydrogen atom, R 3 such as a halogen atom, such as a benzyl group which may have an electron donating group on the phenyl ring, and X represents a halogen atom.] |
