(57) [Problem] To provide a recording paper having extremely improved cracks on a coating film surface due to coarse particles when producing a recording paper having a high glossy void layer, and a method for producing the same. Further, the present invention provides a recording paper which can be produced at low cost and has high porosity, water resistance and high gloss, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The coating liquid containing particles having a particle diameter of not less than 10/1 ml represented by the following formula (1) and having a particle diameter R (μm) or more is coated on a support to form a void layer. Forming a recording sheet. (1) Formula R = 80000 / L 2 L represents the total dry film thickness (μm) of the void layer. |
