abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a thermosensitive recording material having high stability of coloring density and excellent storage stability such as chemical resistance of an image area and a non-image area. SOLUTION: In a thermosensitive recording material provided with a thermosensitive coloring layer containing an electron-donating colorless dye and an electron-accepting compound on a support, a phenol derivative represented by the following general formula (1) is used as the electron-accepting compound. And an anthranilic acid derivative represented by the following general formula (2). Embedded image Embedded image In the formula, R 1 and R 2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or a halogen atom, and R 3 and R 4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a halogen atom, or a hydroxy group. X is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, Or represents an alkyl group. R 5 represents an arylcarbonyl group, an alkylcarbonyl group, or an arylsulfonyl group.
