abstract | [PROBLEMS] To synthesize triorganochlorosilane, which is increasingly important as a silylating agent for protecting a functional group such as a hydroxyl group of a raw material or an intermediate when synthesizing a medicine, a pesticide or a dye. A manufacturing method is provided. SOLUTION: This is represented by the following general formula (I) R 1 R 2 R 3 SiH (I) (where R 1 , R 2 and R 3 represent the same or different alkyl group, aralkyl group and aryl group). Is reacted with carbon tetrachloride in the presence of a catalyst comprising a Group 8 transition metal, a metal salt thereof, or a complex thereof to obtain a compound represented by the following general formula (II): R 1 R 2 R 3 SiCl (II (However, R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 represent the same or different alkyl groups, aralkyl groups, and aryl groups.) |
