titleOfInvention | Mold molding method |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a mold molding method capable of obtaining a mold having high strength, excellent moisture resistance and heat resistance and extremely low odor in a short molding cycle. SOLUTION: One or more kinds of aggregates of silica sand, zircon sand, olivine sand, chromite sand, alumina sand, and mullite sand, and a saccharide whose monosaccharide unit is larger than 10 with respect to 100 parts by weight of the aggregates And a water-soluble polysaccharide that is soluble in water at 1% by weight or more at room temperature and a polyfunctional aldehyde compound having two or more aldehyde groups, and the water-soluble polysaccharide and the polyfunctional aldehyde compound are mixed within a specified range. Further, 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a water-soluble binder having a total solid content concentration of 1 to 70% by weight, and an inorganic acid or an organic acid are added and mixed within a specified range, and the mold molding is obtained. After putting the composition for use in a closed container, the pressure in the container was increased to 48.0 k. This is a mold molding method characterized by maintaining the pressure at Pa or lower, forcibly removing water in the mold, and drying to mold the mold. |
