titleOfInvention | New metformin glycinate salt to control blood glucose |
abstract | This invention relates to the synthesis of 1-dimethyl-pegoidide glycinate salt called metformin glycinate. This salt contains advantages over other metformin salts. These advantages are primarily due to the fact that the anti-ion glycine has reduced blood glucose effects per se. In addition, this salt contains more rapid absorption, with higher plasma concentrations than those produced with metformin hydrochloride. The synthesized products were synthesized from the metformin hydrochloride salt, where a free metformin was produced by the liberation of the antionic hydrochloride, using an ion exchange column for this purpose; the released metformin base was dissolved in an aqueous medium, and then, metformin was added at room temperature with constant stirring; The resulting product is heated until a concentrated solution is produced, and an organic solvent is added that does not react with the existing components where the glycine is insoluble in order to create an insoluble state in the medium and catalyze the saturation of the saturated medium; Overload and therefore j It was separated by filtration; the filtrate was concentrated again until the deposition of metformin glycinate salt was achieved. |
