titleOfInvention MULTI-STAGE PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POLIANILINE HAVING A HIGH ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY.
abstract Multistage process for the production of polyanilines having high electrical conductivity, by oxidative polymerization of aniline, in the presence of the aqueous solution of a strong acid and an alkaline oxidizing agent, characterized in that: a) said strong acid is phosphoric acid; b) the overall acid: aniline molar ratio is between 5 and 8 and preferably between 5 and 6; C) in the first stage the salt of the aniline is formed with the acid, using only a smaller proportion of the acid, and in a second step the remaining amount of acid is added first and then the oxidizing agent and polymerization is continued until the temperature reaches a maximum point.
