titleOfInvention SMALL SUBSTITUTES OF 4-HYDROXY-ISOPHTHALIC ACID, PROCEDURE FOR THEIR PRODUCTION AND PHARMACEUTICAL USE
abstract Cpds of formula (I) and their salts are new (where R is H, Me, Et, Pr or allyl; one of R' and R" is H and the other is Me) . (I) may be prepd. by reacting a 4-OR isophthalic acid monoalkyl ester with 3-pyridylmethylamine (II), reacting the resulting monoamide with SOCl2 to form the acid chloride, and reacting this with N-methyl-3-pyridylmethylamine (III). (I) are thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors with a faster action than the corresp. cpds. where R'=R"=H or Me (cf. BE BE826033 and 8519 67 and US 4294833).
