titleOfInvention METALLIC POLYPROPYLENE FILM CONDENSER
abstract Fluorochloro hydrocarbon gas is filled by at least one pressure (atm) between the film layers of a metallised film condenser. The gas pref. has b.pt. -25 degrees C such as methyane gp. freon e.g. freon 12 (dichloro-difluoromethane), freon 13 (monochlor-trifluoromethane) or freon 23 (trifluoromethane) or ethane gp. freon e.g. freon 115 (monochloropentafluoroethane) or a mixt. The condenser is pref. used for a.c. applications. The air between the film layers is exchanged by the halocarbon. In such a dry tape condenser, polypropylene or PET is used as a film material, and Zn, Al or Cu is used as a metallised film material. Corona starting voltage is greatly improved and high stability is given.
