abstract | Composition for controlling insect pests and representatives of the order of the Acarina, containing, as biologically active components, a) a substance which changes the behaviour of the pests and b) at least one pesticidally active compound, characterised in that the biologically active components are contained in a matrix which is flowable or viscous, suitable for distribution in the form of droplets or drop-like regions which are attached to a substrate, and which is protected from light, water-resistant, weather-resistant and non-hardening, which matrix protects the behaviour-changing substance against UV radiation, and from which matrix a biologically active amount of the substance is released over a prolonged period in a retarded manner, and in that a pesticidally active amount of the pesticidally active compound can be taken up by the pests to be controlled from the surface of the droplets or drop-like regions; and a process for controlling the abovementioned pests, in particular insects which damage plants.n[EP0376888A1] |
