abstract |
Embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ-line cells and/or adult stem cells (A) that contain at least one each of reporter gene (RG1) and resistance gene (RG2) under control of the same promoter and present in at least one or two vector constructs. The promoter is cell specific and/or development specific. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) differentiating or differentiated cells (B) produced from (A); (b) method for producing differentiating (A); (c) cultures (C) of (A) or (B); (d) method (D) for toxicological testing using the cultures (C); (e) method (E) for generating transgenic non-human animals using (A) or (B); (f) transgenic animals produced by method (E); (g) method for testing the developmental stage of mammalian cells; and (h) differentiated cells, especially of the heart, prepared from (A) or (B). |
