titleOfInvention Fast release solid preparations of a dihydropyridine
abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled drug preparation composed of a solid solution containing dihydropyridine-A substance and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, and having remarkably improved solubility in water and transferability to blood. CONSTITUTION:The objective easily-soluble solid preparation can be procuced by dissolving the dihydropyridine-A substance of formula in an organic solvent such as chloroform, adding hydroxypropylmethylcellulose which is a water- soluble polymer to the solution to obtain a uniform mixture, and removing the organic solvent. The compound of formula has vasodilating activity such as coronary vasodilation action and hypotensive action, etc. and is useful as a remedy for coronary vessel diseases such as cardiac insufficiency, stenocardia, myocardial infarction, etc. and for hypertension. The amount of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is at least to enable to form a dispersion of the dihydropyridine-A substance, preferably 3-7pts.wt. of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose per 1pt.wt. of dihydropyridine-A substance.n[JP60038322A]
