titleOfInvention | THERAPEUTIC APPLICATION OF d, 1-CARNITINE DERIVITIVES |
abstract | Certain acylic methods of use of derivatives of the carnitine-d, 1 are proposed for the treatment of the myocardic anoxia, ischaemia, asynchronous syndromes and cardiac failure, as well in the animal as at the man. The acetyl-carnitine-d, 1 and its acceptable salts pharmaceutically, for example its hydrochlorate, represent a remarkable improvement in the treatment of the tiredness of the heart in the animal and the man, like in pathological situations characterized by disorders of heart rate. Others very effective derivatives of the carnitine are: the propionyl-carnitine-d, 1, the butyryl-carnitine-d, 1, the hydroxybutyryl-carnitine-d, 1, the hexanoyl-carnitine-d, 1, the octanoyl-carnitine-d, 1, the decanoyl-carnitine-d, 1, the palmitoyl-carnitine-d, 1, the stearoyl-carnitine-d, 1 and the acetoacetyl-carnitine-d, 1.
