titleOfInvention Methods for controlling cockroaches
abstract Cockroach populations are controlled using the (S)-(+) enantiomer of hydroprene (Ethyl (2E, 4E)-3,7,11-trimethyl-2,4-dodecadienoate), which has superior juvenile hormone activity to the (R)-(-) enantiomer. Compositions for this purpose comprise (a) (S)-(+) hydroprene; (b) a diluent; and (c), where the diluent is a solvent, a propellant, a surfactant or a thickener.
