Salts of antimicrobial naphthyridine and quinoline compounds, and their production |
abstract |
There are disclosed compounds having the following general formula C: wherein X is N or CH and Z is galacturonic, aspartic, gluconic or glutamic acid; as well as processes for producing these compounds by reacting the acid Z with the other component. The acid addition salts of formula C are, unlike other acid addition salts of the active compound, suitable for parenteral administration when the active compound is used as an antibacterial agent. |
