abstract | Emulsifier-containing plastics dispersions which serve as a binder for dispersion paints, should contain polymers forming a film at room temperature and having a high wet adhesion. Suitable polymers are prepared by polymerization of olefinically unsaturated monomers initiated by free radical-forming agents, especially in the presence of an emulsifier. As emulsifier there is used a salt of an acyl ester of the hydroxymethane-phosphonic acid. The emulsifier may remain in the dispersion ready-for-use without involving disadvantages for the wet adhesion. |
